- Biomechatronics
David Hill is a former member of the MIT Media Lab's Biomechatronics Group, where he completed his Ph.D. and Master's degrees. His research focused on the creation of a neuromuscular model of the human leg based on x-ray video gait analysis. Prior to joining the Media Lab, David completed a Bachelor’s degree in Physics from Morehouse College. There, he developed diffractive optics for extreme ultraviolet (EUV) lasers at the Micro/Nano Optics Research Laboratory (MORELab) under the guidance of mentor Prof. Willie Rockward, PhD and in collaboration with Colorado State University’s EUV Engineering Research Center.
