The Signal Kinetics group invented the world's first battery-free wireless underwater camera. The camera is powered by underwater sound, captures color images at ultra-low-power, and transmits them wirelessly to a remote receiver. The electronic design consumes 100,000 times less power than state-of-the-art low-power underwater imaging systems, allowing it to be powered entirely by the harvested sound energy.
