The holograms computed for the mark-II system exhibit only horiontal parallax, and thus have an unusual aspect ratio: 256K 8-bit samples wide by 144 independent lines high. As stored on cheops' M1, or as sent to the O1s directly, a hologram is formatted to take advantage of cheops' 3-channel (rgb) data pathways.
