The ability of shape displays to move and manipulate objects enables the assembly, disassembly, and reassembly of different forms and structures using a set of fundamental building blocks (cubes). We present different assembly techniques such as stacking, scaffolding, and catapulting, which allow us to create 3D structures on a shape display.
