Project

GenAI For Personalized Animations

A new way to help people with neurodivergence to manage emotion regulation and understand their stress response.

Participants describe their ideas to an AI interface that subsequently generates Processing code (Processing is a visible language developed at the Media Lab by Ben Fry and Casey Reas).  The code snippet is cut and pasted into a Processing Development Environment window and executed.  This is all completed by the participant on their own.

These animations, once built, are then connected to a wearable skin conductance device.  The user is then able to watch their arousal response “drive” their personal animation and learn about their body.

The animations below were created by autistic adults participating in our experiments.
