Nicole L’Huillier wins 2020 Harold and Arlene Schnitzer Prize in the Visual Arts

Nicole L’Huillier, a PhD student in the Opera of the Future group, is the First Prize winner of the 2020 Harold and Arlene Schnitzer Prize in the Visual Arts that honors "excellence in a body of work." She will receive  $5,000 as part of the award, and stands alongside two additional winners and two honorable mentions.

"The Harold and Arlene Schnitzer Prize in the Visual Arts is awarded annually to three to five MIT students for excellence in a body of artistic work. The Schnitzer Prize was established in 1996 through an endowment from Harold and Arlene Schnitzer of Portland, Oregon. Harold Schnitzer, a real estate investor, graduated from MIT in 1944 with a degree in metallurgy."
