Samantha Gutierrez-Arango, a graduate student in the Biomechatronics research group, has recently been selected as the recipient of the Fundación Mario Santo Domingo 2025 Fellowship. The awarded fellowship is for a nine-month period starting September 1, 2026.

This award is given to a single graduate student from MIT’s Schools of Science, Engineering, or Architecture and Planning, and is administered through the MIT Office of Graduate Education—based on the awardee's excellent academic and research capabilities, as well as their commitment to the MIT community.
