The Outstanding UROP Student Awards recognize students who have made outstanding contributions as undergraduate researchers through the Undergraduate Research Opportunities Program. Recipients are nominated by their supervisors, who may be faculty members, researchers, postdocs, or graduate students; each year, one student from each of MIT's schools is selected to receive the award.
Very proud of my undergrad student @osvyrodriguez who just won MIT’s inaugural Outstanding UROP award! Osvy joined our group in his first year at MIT, has been with us for the past two years, and is starting grad school with us this summer. A thread on Osvy’s story with us
