The MIT Excellence Awards + Collier Medal acknowledge the extraordinary efforts made by members of the MIT community toward fulfilling the goals, values, and mission of the Institute.

This year, three members of the Media Lab community have received MIT Excellence Awards:

• Lindsey Charles, Senior Administrative Assistant for the Biomechatronics research group, has been selected as an Outstanding Contributor.
• Mahy El-Kouedi, Director of Academic Program Administration in the Program in Media Arts and Sciences, has been recognized in the Serving Our Community category. 
  
• Benoit Desbiolles, Postdoctoral Associate in the Nano-Cybernetic Biotrek research group, has been selected as an Outstanding Contributor. 
  

A community-wide celebration for all of this year’s recipients will take place on Thursday, June 8, from 3–4pm ET at Kresge Auditorium. Reception to follow from 4–5pm.
