Lara Ozkan, an undergraduate researcher in the Conformable Decoders group, was selected as a member of MIT’s Laureates and Leaders Cohort. Lara is currently a sophomore at MIT studying Computer Science and Molecular Biology. She will be working with her Laureates and Leaders cohort in presenting research and connecting with faculty, alumni, and graduate students. Lara hopes to apply these skills to her work with the Conformable Decoders and advance her research experience.
The Laureates and Leaders Program is designed to support highly motivated and talented students in their pursuit of a graduate degree. It is organized by MIT’s Office of Minority Education and aims to guide students that are underrepresented in STEM fields.
