Conformable Decoders research assistant Farita Tasnim has been named as a Finalist for the 2021 NCWIT Collegiate Award, for her work on Real-Time Decoding of Facial Strains via Conformable Piezoelectric Interfaces. Presented by the National Center for Women & Information Technology (NCWIT), these awards recognize technical contributions to projects that demonstrate a high level of innovation and potential impact. The 2021 awards honored 82 undergraduate and graduate students who self-identify as women, genderqueer, or non-binary from 57 academic institutions nationwide.
