Dr. Praneeth Vepakomma, an alum of the Camera Culture research group, has been named as a research fellow for the Abu Dhabi Investment Authority (ADIA) Lab. Dr. Vepakomma is currently an Assistant Professor in the Department of Machine Learning at Mohamed Bin Zayed University of Artificial Intelligence in Abu Dhabi.
The ADIA Lab aims to encourage multidisciplinary collaboration and solve large-scale and complex problems through a team science approach. The ADIA Lab advisory board includes Nobel laureates, Turing award winners, and head of the Media Lab's Human Dynamics research group, Professor Alex 'Sandy' Pentland. Media Lab community member Dr. Thomas Hardjono has also been named as a senior fellow of the ADIA Lab.
