Dezeen announced over 150 projects to the longlist for the 2024 Dezeen Awards in design categories. The longlisted projects are by studios located across 32 different countries, including Pakistan, Cyprus, Turkey, Canada, Poland and the Czech Republic.
This list includes two efforts led by members of the Media Lab community:
- Illuminate, a project by Media Lab alum Chelsi Cocking (Future Sketches), in the Installation Design category
- Butlr, a Media Lab spinoff company co-founded by former Labbers Honghao Deng (City Science) and Jiani Zeng (Object-Based Media), in the Product Design (health, wellbeing and wearables) category
