Researchers from the City Science group, including Naroa Coretti, Iñigo Martinez, Luis Alonso, and group head Kent Larson, recently published two papers titled "On the simulation of shared autonomous micro-mobility" and "On the performance of shared autonomous bicycles: A simulation study" in Communications in Transportation Research.
The two papers relate to project work from the City Science group around the impact of shared autonomous micro-mobility systems, and whether autonomy will make micro-mobility systems more efficient. In a case study, the researchers assess the potential impacts of autonomous shared bicycles.
