VideoID is a type of hybrid of the business card recognizer and the intelligent FedEx package. The VideoID in itself is taking the business card recognizer one step further. Thus, instead of an business card, any picture can be placed on a white surface, the camera can look at the picture and the image is catologed for later recognition.
The example shown in the picture above is one possible use. Suppose Pillsbury maintains a databse of images accessible by the computer in the home. Then, when the household chef goes to make busicuits and can't figure out how to open the container, a video pops up to demonstrate. If the baker is more proficient, the ersponse could be suggested recipie ideas. This system has the advantage that almost any item can be added to the database, household or otherwise, quickly and cheaply.
