💟Co-creating CoCo and Little Language Models.
CoCo (coco.build) is a new co-creative computing and AI education platform designed to empower young people in Being. Creative. Together.—always, but especially in the era of AI. CoCo was awarded the 2024 Global Learning Tools Prize, supported by the Gates Foundation, OpenAI, and others. The platform has been featured by MIT News, EdSurge, and MIT Technology Review (in their English, Portuguese, Italian, German, and Japanese editions), with educators from over 85 countries signing up and sharing highly positive feedback.
Before joining the Media Lab, I finished my master's in Computer Science at MIT, majoring in AI & Decision Making, working under Prof. Josh Tenenbaum and Prof. Laura Schulz.
Previously, I used to run a board game design company and designed over a dozen board games and digital games primarily in the areas of language learning and supporting neurodiverse children with Autism. These board games added playful moments in the lives of over 250,000 families and were adopted by over 3000 schools, and 500,000 digital users. This work earned recognition in the Top Ten Indian Innovators list by the Science and Technology Board of Government of India.
💜My deeper calling lies in my practice of yoga & self-inquiry meditation, which has not only been instrumental in managing my Tourette's Syndrome, but also guides me every day to live life more wholly. At my core, I am passionate about creating tools and experiences that help young people lead calm, creative, and connected lives.
