SM 1991
Chief Technology Officer, YesLogic
Håkon has spent most of his professional life on developing standards and software for the web. While working at CERN in 1994, he proposed Cascading Style Sheets (CSS), which describes layout and typography for web documents. From 1998 until 2016, Håkon was the Chief Technology Officer of Opera Software, which builds better browsers. Currently, he is the chairman of YesLogic, which makes the Prince CSS-to-PDF formatter so that we can produce paper books from web content.
How did your experience at the Lab influence your next step?
