MEng candidate in Affective Computing
Darian Bhathena is a 1st year Master's student, completing his Master's of Engineering through the EECS department at MIT. Before joining the Affective Computing group in September 2020 as a research assistant and Master's student, Darian was an MIT undergraduate researcher in the group for 3 years through the UROP program. During his time in AC, he helped develop adherence calculations, data visualization platforms, and machine learning analysis techniques for a project aimed at objectively assessing depression. He has strong interests in using artificial intelligence and machine learning in health applications, a big motivation for his continued work in this area.
