On May 12 researchers from the City Science Lab @Shanghai hosted a workshop at the Tongji University, College of Design and Innovation to focus on innovative solutions to societies most pressing challenges. Participants focused on two tracks:
The NICE2035 Project, an initiative to enable sustainable and community focused and led urban growth and the HuangPu Central Innovation Area which aims to understand and model innovation potential of this rapidly changing community.
The program was attended by students and researchers from the City Science Lab and from Tongji D&I. Prof. Yunsheng SU, Chang LIU, Liu (Leon) YANG, Jarmo Suominen and Kent Larson were also in attendance to work alongside students, provide feedback, and offer insight and advice for the project's next steps.
