The NextMed Health conference will be held in Coronado, California, near San Diego, from March 13–16, 2023. The conference will bring together a unique interdisciplinary community and provide a platform for thought leaders and experts to share their insights and expertise.
During the conference, Professor Ramesh Raskar, a leader in the fields of decentralized society and Web3, will share his insights and expertise on how these technologies can revolutionize healthcare and create a more human-centric, technology-enabled health age. He will deliver a presentation on Web3, decentralized science, and GPT3 during the opening session on March 13, and host a breakout session on Web3 and health on March 14.
Professor Raskar is one of the leads of the Media Lab's Decentralized Society research theme, which focuses on designing a more resilient, equitable, secure, participatory, and open future using decentralized technologies and digital public infrastructure. Through research and convening, Decentralized Society aims to create a neutral space for public- and private-sector leaders to engage with academics on complex questions and trade-offs.
