Multiple Formats Book Fair showcases the work of artists, bookmakers, and other creatives. Intended to be an elastic and inclusive forum for discussions about artist book publishing, Multiple Formats pays particular attention to publishing by graphic designers, the use and creation of artist books in visual arts programs, publishing as a personal and collaborative process, and other topics of interest.
Amongst other physical artifacts, Vera van de Seyp of the MIT Media Lab's Future Sketches research group showcased her work Machine Motion, that uses a custom algorithm to convert images to riso layers. These publications were printed at the MIT ACT initiative ppppress.
