Abstract:
The Opera of the Future Group will be presenting some new work demonstrating innovative solutions for delivering emotional, expressive experiences in a post-pandemic world. We will discuss new paradigms for distributed musical collaboration and performance (with celebrated artists such as Yo-Yo Ma and A.R. Rahman); show new models for AI-enhanced music systems that allow augmented  user customization; unveil a new interactive installation designed to encourage community building; and demonstrate a new series of Medi-Musical Instruments that deliver advanced health and wellbeing through multisensory immersion.
