MicroMedia at the MIT Media Lab
The MIT µMedia Lab
The MicroMedia Laboratory, which is a part of the
MIT Media Laboratory, is focused on creating new electronic media and
contains many different projects.
The picture you see above demonstrates our goal of creating paper with
microencapsulated cells that can freely rotate. Applying electrical
charge to these capsules change their orientation and thus the same cells
can display different images.
