Autostereoscopic
Displays
-
The
goal of our 3D display research is to design scalable
-
spatial
display systems with television-like characteristics,
-
capable
of delivering full color, 3D images with proper
-
occlusion
relationships to multiple viewers (4+) at their
-
respective
locations.
-
-
The
Mark I
display updates at video rates (30 fps), has a
-
30
degree viewzone that accommodates a single viewer,
-
and
uses viewer tracking to display stereo image pairs to
-
a moving
viewer. The Mark
II display is currently being
-
developed
to be be more compact, to have a wider viewzone,
-
and
to accommodate multiple head-tracked viewers.
